FacilitiesBeautiful old heritage buildings, including our Chapel, some dating back to the 1800’s, merge with our more modern and recently restored, buildings. The Garcia Centre for Performing Arts and Languages includes the Madame Christian Recital Hall, the recording studio, the keyboard laboratory, music class rooms, private music and speech and drama rooms, language laboratory and language rooms. The Technology and Applied Studies Centre has large and spacious class rooms, a computer annex, a workshop and resources necessary for the varying design and technology contexts. The Visual Arts Centre has two large studios both with mezzanine levels used by senior students for major works, a study foyer, a darkroom for photography and a kiln. The Boarding House for our country families and a small number of overseas students offers modern and comfortable single or shared accommodation, common rooms and the Tarmons Dining Room. All these facilities have been recently restored and offer our boarders a bright and homely environment. Other facilities include specialist classrooms for each subject area, new science laboratories, new library, swimming pool and tennis/basketball/netball courts. The recently refurbished Canteen provides a healthy choice for recess and lunch, new staff studies and new teaching space. Internet and email services are available to the College community and an Intranet provides a learning platform whereby students and teachers can exchange ideas, send and receive learning materials and submit their learning electronically.
