Pastoral Care

The heart of pastoral care at St Vincent’s College lies in the Tutor system which involves small vertically structured groups under the care of a dedicated staff member. The Tutor offers encouragement and guidance to the students. Communication between older and younger students is enhanced by the vertical nature of the Tutor system as well as the variety of peer support networks in the College. Heads of Year and their staff teams oversee the pastoral care of students in each Year group.

A full-time College Counsellor and Nurse provide specialised assistance and support for any student in particular need.

St Vincent's College assists and complements the educational responsibilities of our families. The parents and carers of our students are valued partners in all the important issues affecting the pastoral care and learning of their daughters.
