What to do if you...
- are absent from school: A parent or guardian should ring the reception on 9368 1611. On returning to school a note from your parent or guardian must be handed to your Tutor.
- are late for school: Report to reception and receive a late slip which must be shown to the teacher of the class you are entering and then kept to be given to your Tutor.
- have a dentist or doctor’s appointment: Within reason it is expected that all appointments will occur outside school hours. If this is not possible bring in a note from your parents or guardians stating the reason and the date and time of the appointment. The note needs to be shown to the Tutor and signed; then present this note to reception when you sign out on leaving.
- become ill or injured: If you are ill ask the teacher to allow you to go to reception. The nurse will be called and she will determine whether you need to go to the Health Centre or be sent home. If you are injured ask someone to report it to reception.
- are in class and the teacher doesn’t arrive: After 5 minutes a class representative should inform reception.
- have a problem: discuss the problem with your Tutor or Head of Year. If you want to talk to the counsellor make an appointment with her.
- can’t make it to sport training or a match for any reason: Apply in writing to the Sport Coordinator for permission to be absent.
