The Parents and Friends’ Association is the main parent body at St Vincent's College and works in partnership with the staff of the College to ensure quality education for its students. A levy of $40 per term, per family is imposed through the school billing system. Meetings are held once each term at 7.30 pm in the College Hall and these dates are noted on the College Calendar. The last meeting of the year in Term 4 is always the Annual General Meeting where the Executive for the following year is voted upon. Reports are given by the President, Treasurer and Principal. These meetings provide an opportunity for the Principal to receive feedback from the parents who are encouraged to attend so that they have input into discussions and decisions. P & F updates will be found in the College Bulletin. Meetings and any agenda items of special interest will be advertised there. The Canteen comes under the general auspices of the Parents and Friends’ Association. It operates five days a week and relies heavily on volunteers from parents or caregivers.
