In Term 2 and 3 for IGSA, our teams play against schools such as PLC Pymble, Abbotsleigh, and Kambala to name a few. The Saturday morning games are played at various venues, fields and schools throughout Sydney. Depending on the draw, some teams may have to travel to play Frensham at Mittagong. Game times range from 8am till 11am. Venue addresses are on the attached documents on this page.

Transport:

Saturday transport is not arranged by the College. Boarders are to organise lifts with day girls in their teams and all Boarders must plan ahead and be proactive. Talk to your team/coach at training. Since Boarding students need to be driven to venues and back to school each Saturday, it would be good if this responsibility was shared with all parents. Please try to help the boarders at least once each term with lifts.

Arrival time to venue:

Please allow time for Sydney traffic and arrive 30 minutes prior to match time for your warm-up. Please sign on with the Convenor and be in full College Sports uniform.

Due to Covid 19 your own drink bottles must be used. All participants and staff are to maintain 1.5m distance when talking. Hands are to be washed or sanitised before and after the match. No hand shaking and no sharing of equipment.

New Rule

We are not playing the new rule with regards to high balls in Schoolgirls but will be playing the new position for the long corner and the hits in the 25 area, the high ball rule is not being played in Schoolgirls.

Wet Weather

Most venues are turf and games won't be cancelled unless torrential or lightening.

Three unexplained missed training sessions, means you may be bumped from the Team and might not be considered for sport the following Term.. To request absenteeism from a match, a note should be submitted to the Head Coach and Sports Coordinator at least 3 days prior to the match, if possible so we can organise a replacement if needed
