Boarding Co-ordinator

The College is seeking to appoint a Boarding Co-ordinator to join the College Staff to offer pastoral care to boarding students. A Boarding Co-ordinator's role is diverse. It requires a responsible adult who, working under the Director of Boarding, creates a relationship of care and responsibility for a particular group of students before and after school and on weekends. This role will include passive overnight duty. It is desired that the successful applicant be confident in communicating with parents and adolescents, be able to provide assistance during study times and be competent in assisting with activities and duty of care of students in and outside of the school grounds.

Concert Band Leader

St Vincent’s College Performing Arts Department is seeking to employ a Concert Band Leader for 1 hour per week after school. The successful applicant will love working with beginner to advanced musicians and will have experience teaching band or orchestra within a high school environment. It would be advantageous if the applicant could teach trumpet as this could possibly lead to additional hours of work. Experience in teaching and preparing students for examinations with the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) would also be highly desirable.

All applicants must have relevant experience in their field of expertise, have a WWCC and a current first aid certificate, or be willing to obtain.

The successful applicant must be able to support the Catholic ethos of the College and be willing to complete compliance training.
